In the heart of Ontario's vibrant hockey culture, our committee is thrilled to present Sault Ste. Marie as the picturesque host city for Docs on Ice in April 2025. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Northern Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie offers a unique backdrop for this charitable event. We are not just hosting a hockey tournament; we are creating an experience that showcases the beauty and warmth of the community, inviting participants and sponsors to be part of something truly special.

We have been working hard to bring this longstanding charitable event to Sault Ste. Marie and almost did so in 2020. Unfortunately, the emergence of the global COVID pandemic squashed our efforts just six weeks before our tournament was to kick off! We (and the world) have travelled a great distance since and we’re pleased to say that our 2025 event promises to be bigger and better than ever!

We have chosen to raise money for United Way of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District in light of the vital support that this organization offers to vulnerable individuals and families in our community.

So…set aside April 3-5, 2025 for Docs on Ice in Sault Ste Marie. We’re looking forward to seeing you in the Soo!
